Especially, our marine engineering expertise has made Kalmar the leading supplier of large lighting features to the cruise industry.

Your future responsibilities

  • Commercial and operational management of a small team selling high-quality premium decorative lighting to retailers and project businesses internationally
  • Responsible for agreeing and achieving quantitative and qualitative targets (including sales and distribution targets)
  • Building and expanding our customer base
  • Process optimization: Analysis of existing processes, programs, and ongoing optimization to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • You are operationally responsible for product and project costing as well as for the entire supply chain

Your qualifications and strengths

  • Several years of experience in sales in the B2B sector
  • You have a high level of commercial competence with excellent results and possess a high level of commercial expertise
  • You are characterized by leadership and entrepreneurial thinking
  • Several years of experience in the lighting industry and/or in high-end furniture and luxury retail
  • You have excellent English skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You have an interest in technology and are confident in using ERP systems (e.g., BMD NTCS)
  • You have a goal-oriented and structured approach to work
  • You are willing to travel (to a limited extent) and have a valid work permit for Austria
  • You have a sense of humor!

For this position, a classification in utilization group V with a minimum gross salary of EUR 4,205 is planned. Depending on qualifications and demonstrable experience, the company is prepared to pay a higher salary in line with the market and also to pay performance-related bonuses.
