 To enhance our successful NPI Team at the HTB 3 Plant in Leoben, we are looking for a passionate

 (Junior) NPI Engineer (f/m/d)

 As part of our NPI team, you will play a key role in bringing new products and package designs from concept to high-volume manufacturing. Whether you are starting your career or are an experienced engineer, you will contribute to the successful qualification of customer designs by coordinating cross-functional activities, and driving continuous improvement. You will help shape the future of IC substrate production at Europe’s only facility of its kind.

Ihre Aufgaben

• Coordinate and support New Product Planning, including material and tooling preparation, to meet delivery timelines
• Monitor NPI progress daily, focusing on IPP/CtF capability, yield improvement, and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with Technology Development and Operations to meet qualification timelines
• Drive or support the certification and handover of new products to high-volume manufacturing
• Create and maintain Power BI dashboards for project tracking and reporting
• Support customer meetings, action requests, and documentation for technology transfer activities
• Assist with core ordering and metrology best-known methods for new customers and products
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely support across multiple projects

Ihr Profil

• We are looking for both junior and experienced candidates who are passionate about technology and eager to contribute to innovative product development.

   For junior candidates:

  • Technical education (HTL or higher degree)
  • Fresh graduates are welcome
  • German and English communication skills
  • Willingness to work in cleanroom environments
  • Strong sense of responsibility, team spirit, and eagerness to learn (especially software tools like Power BI / ODB++)

   

  For experienced candidates:

  • University degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in IC-Substrate, Semiconductor, IC-Packaging or Assembly Industry
  • Knowledge of project management, data evaluation, and customer orientation
  • Proficiency in Power BI, JMP, and ODB++ software tools
