Your role

We are a globally leading data center operator, setting the highest standards in availability, technical excellence, and energy efficiency. For our site in Vienna, we are seeking an experienced professional to take responsibility for the safe, efficient, and uninterrupted operation of our cooling, air-conditioning, and ventilation systems.

What you´ll do

In this position, you will be responsible as a senior technician in the high-availability data center environment for the safe and energy-efficient operation of air-conditioning, ventilation, hydraulic, and pumping systems as well as building monitoring. You will carry out maintenance, repair, and servicing tasks, troubleshoot malfunctions, and perform switching operations to minimize downtime. In addition, you will manage small optimization projects, coordinate external service providers, and implement efficiency improvement measures while ensuring compliance with all safety and quality standards.

What you´ll need

• Completed technical education (HTL, university of applied sciences, or apprenticeship in HVAC/refrigeration technology) with several years of relevant professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in the maintenance and repair of industrial refrigeration and air-conditioning systems, ideally in a high-availability environment (e.g., data center, hospital, industrial production).
• Knowledge of project management is an advantage.
• Very good command of German and advanced English skills, both spoken and written.
• Confident handling of standard maintenance and documentation software.
• Strong customer orientation, analytical skills, and a pronounced hands-on mentality.
