Brand Director & Business Unit Lead (m/f/x) – Germany
Key Responsibilities:
Your mission:
You will lead an established strong Dr. Wolff Group brand in Germany as an internal entrepreneur. Taking full P&L responsibility, you will develop the business unit strategically, drive profitable growth and secure long-term market leadership. Acting as the brand CEO, you will be decisive, commercially excellent and have a sharp eye for market opportunities, consumer needs and value creation.

In this role, you will take the lead for an established brand with strong market potential and enjoy real entrepreneurial freedom to shape the business. Operating at top-management level with full accountability for results, you will drive sustainable growth and leave a visible impact – both strategically and operationally.
Entrepreneurial Business Leadership: Take full ownership for the Business Unit including revenue, profitability, and sustainable growth. Define and drive the long-term business and brand strategy for Germany while continuously challenging the status quo to unlock new growth potential.
Brand & Portfolio Management: Lead the product portfolio and innovation pipeline from ideation to launch, prioritizing initiatives by commercial impact and sharpening brand positioning versus competition.
Go-to-Market & Commercial Excellence: Own the national go-to-market strategy (campaigns, launches, promotions), steer key commercial levers (pricing, portfolio, distribution, media) and leverage data to maximize value creation.
Product & Communication Strategy: Architect and execute compelling product, communication, and claim strategies that differentiate the brand, fuel sustainable growth, and resonate with evolving consumer needs.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management: Lead and develop high-performing, cross-functional teams; work closely with R&D, Marketing, Sales, and Operations and act as a strategic partner to executive and international stakeholders.
Your Profile:
5+ years of relevant experience in Brand Management, General Management, Consulting, Venture Building, or comparable roles
Proven P&L responsibility and strong commercial track record
Strong entrepreneurial mindset
Excellent analytical skills, Data & AI affinity combined with pragmatism and strong execution capabilities
Experience with strong consumer brands (FMCG/CPG is a plus, but not required)
Inspiring people leader with clear stance and strong presence
Business-fluent in German and English
