The IOTA Foundation is seeking a reliable and highly organized Business Development & Partnerships Associate to join our Product Adoption team.

Your tasks

In this role, you will work closely with senior team members to support the adoption of IOTA’s core products across a range of industries, with a strong focus on real-world asset tokenization, digital identity, the circular economy, trade and supply chains, track-and-trace solutions, and early-stage builder partnerships.

You’ll support day-to-day operations, follow-up with partners, track milestones, contribute to internal documents, help organize events and demos, and assist in identifying promising new use cases for IOTA’s decentralized tech.

This is an ideal role for someone who’s interested in real-world blockchain adoption, enjoys cross-functional work, and wants to grow into a partner-facing or program management role in the future.

Responsibilities & Requirements

Partner Operations & Coordination

• Track milestones, deliverables, and timelines across multiple BIP and partnership projects.
• Maintain internal tools (Airtable, Confluence, etc.) to reflect the latest partner updates and communications.
• Join partner meetings, take structured notes, and follow up on action items.

Application & Due Diligence Support

• Review incoming partnership applications and assist with internal evaluations.
• Draft and consolidate comments from team members.
• Help write structured feedback and prepare rejection or clarification emails.

Internal Documentation & Communication

• Assist in preparing one-pagers, onboarding docs, reports, and internal presentations
• Update internal wikis, dashboards, and shared folders to ensure consistent documentation
• Support preparation of reports, blog posts, event recaps, and success stories

Research & Strategy Input

• Conduct brief research tasks to support partnership targeting or strategic alignment
• Help assess the maturity, team composition, and IOTA-fit of incoming projects
• Support preparation of summary material ahead of events or strategic discussions

Event & Demo Support

• Help prepare internal and external demo sessions with partners
• Support logistical coordination and documentation for events or workshops

About the project

As a Business Development/Partnerships Associate, you’ll work alongside a small, focused team driving the real-world adoption of IOTA’s technology. This role offers hands-on experience with early-stage partners, builder programs, and industry use cases.

You’ll have the chance to learn how partnerships are built, managed, and scaled while contributing to the internal structure that keeps them running. With the support of senior team members, you’ll grow your understanding of blockchain adoption, improve your communication and coordination skills, and gain exposure to both the strategic and operational side of partner management at IOTA.

Skills & Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to engage clearly and professionally in partner conversations
• Familiarity with blockchain or distributed ledger technology (DLT)
• Experience supporting partnerships, business development, or other client-facing work
• Strong interest in real-world blockchain adoption, especially in areas like supply chain tracking, digital product passports (DPPs), identity and access management, data integrity, and tokenization of real-world assets
• Eagerness to learn about IOTA’s core products and its evolving Layer 1 infrastructure
• Comfortable taking part in meetings, summarizing discussions, and supporting follow-ups with internal and external stakeholders
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams with attention to detail

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with tools like Airtable, Slack, or Confluence
• Fluency in German
