Tasks

Help Shape the Next Generation of Luxury Mobility

Mercedes-Benz AG is looking for an intern to join our UX/UI software development team from March to August 2026. If you’re interested in vehicle software and want meaningful, hands-on experience, this role puts you at the center of a real project that supports our next-generation infotainment platform.

About Us

Mercedes-Benz AG develops, produces, and sells luxury passenger vehicles and related services. We focus on electric mobility, vehicle software, and thoughtful user experiences. Our teams work in an inclusive and respectful environment where a wide range of perspectives is valued.

Role Overview

As an intern, you’ll support our DevOps and Integration teams and take ownership of tasks that contribute directly to the tools used by hundreds of UI developers. You’ll work onsite with the team, giving you the chance to collaborate closely, ask questions in real time, and get familiar with Atlassian tools and day-to-day project workflows. Your work will include:

  • Designing, developing, and deploying internal software solutions for more than 200 UI developers
  • Working with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI to improve pipeline performance and reliability
  • Building dashboards that highlight key performance indicators and offer clear insights into build pipeline behavior
  • Collaborating with architects, product owners, and other stakeholders to refine reporting and integration processes

The activity can begin from march 2026.

Qualifications

Your Profile

  • Enrolled in a degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Some experience with programming and an interest in growing your technical skills
  • Curiosity about Linux environments and development tools like GitLab or Gerrit; prior experience is helpful but not expected
  • Basic familiarity with Python and an interest in learning more about testing practices
  • Comfortable communicating with others and working in a team
  • Motivated, adaptable, and genuinely interested in technology
  • Proficiency in English - German skills are a plus
  • Based in the EU or authorized to work in the EU

What We Offer

  • A close-up look at innovation in the automotive world
  • A meaningful internship project with clear responsibilities and room to grow
  • Practical experience with modern DevOps tools and development workflows
  • Onsite collaboration that helps you learn from experienced colleagues and build confidence quickly
  • Opportunities for training, learning, and professional development
  • Competitive internship compensation
