How you will make an impact:

  • Own end-to-end hiring for highly specialized roles across engineering, defense operations, and corporate functions
  • Act as a trusted hiring partner to founders and senior leaders, shaping role profiles and realistic hiring strategies in a defense-tech context
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of talent within the German defense ecosystem
  • Proactively source niche profiles through direct search, industry networks, and referrals
  • Navigate defense-sector constraints (security requirements, compliance, sensitivity) with confidence and discretion
  • Represent the company credibly to candidates, communicating mission, impact, and technical depth
  • Continuously refine interview processes, assessments, and hiring decisions based on data and feedback

What you need to be successful:

  • 4+ years of hands-on recruitment experience, ideally as an in-house recruiter or talent partner
  • Mandatory: Proven experience within the German defense sector (industry, government-adjacent, or defense contractors)
  • Strong understanding of technical and non-technical roles in high-security, regulated environments
  • Demonstrated success hiring hard-to-find, senior, or security-sensitive profiles
  • Fluent in German and English (spoken and written)
  • Self-driven, structured, and comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment
  • Passion for building teams that work on mission-critical technology with real-world impact
