Business Continuity Consultant with German – Junior

Develop, implement, and maintain business continuity and IT security management programs tailored to financial services operations.
Ensure compliance with relevant norms, standards, and laws, including ISO 27001, ISO 22301, BSI, DORA, and NIS2.
Conduct risk assessments and gap analyses to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security and continuity management into business processes.
Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations, translating complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for diverse audiences.
Lead and participate in business continuity and IT security audits, reviews, and incident response activities.
Provide guidance and training to stakeholders on best practices and regulatory requirements.
Support project delivery and contribute to the continuous improvement of security and continuity frameworks.

Academic education with a focus on integrated security management, business continuity management, or a comparable certification.
2-5 years of relevant experience in business continuity management or IT security management, preferably within the financial services sector.
In-depth knowledge of applicable norms, standards, and laws (ISO 27001, ISO 22301, BSI, DORA, NIS2).
Fluent English and German (written & spoken).
Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information to varied audiences.
Excellent attention to detail and proven teamwork capabilities.

Additional certifications in IT security or business continuity (e.g., CISSP, CBCP) are advantageous.
Experience with digital transformation projects and modern cloud-based security solutions is a plus.
Familiarity with regulatory environments in the European banking sector.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and process optimization.
