For our office in Hamburg, we are looking for a Cargo Superintendent​ (m/f/d)

Ihre Aufgaben

As Cargo Superintendent at SAL Engineering in Hamburg, you will be responsible for the technical preparation and engineering execution of complex heavy lift and multipurpose cargo operations – from concept planning to safe implementation.

• Prepare stowage, lifting, and cargo securing plans
• Work on new engineering inquiries from the chartering team
• Maintain communication with internal and external clients regarding technical aspects
• Collaborate with colleagues in different departments, such as Chartering, Operations, and Technical Gear department, to ensure smooth project preparation and execution
• Cooperation with vessel's command

Ihr Profil

• Experience in the maritime and multipurpose or heavy lift shipping sector
• Broad knowledge of lifting operations and lifting equipment
• Nautical or technical diploma or other relevant practical experience in heavy lift shipping
• Professional experience (5+ years) in the field of heavy lifting
• Excellent command of the English language
• Proficiency in CAD and MS Office
• Demonstrable ability to prioritize and organize work effectively
