We are looking for an experienced Cloud / DevOps Engineer (AWS) to join a project delivered for one of our clients – an international company developing SaaS software for aftersales process management for car dealers, construction equipment providers, etc.Who we are:We are Inspeerity (part of DevelopX group), a modern software house, providing software development, consultancy, and maintenance services. We are crazy about technology, serious about people.TL;DR• Who: Cloud Engineer• Contract Type: B2B• Salary range: Up to 170 PLN/h + VAT• Term of the agreement: ~ 1 year, with the possibility of extension• Company: Software House• Project topic: AutomotiveWhat you’ll be doing:Translating ISO 27001 controls into practical, auditable AWS implementations.Managing asset inventories, access controls, logging, monitoring, backup & recovery policies.Supporting audits by delivering evidence, explaining controls frameworks, and addressing identified gaps.Designing and operating centralized monitoring using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Config, Security Hub, and GuardDuty.Ensuring log retention, meaningful alerts, and full coverage for availability, security, and change tracking.Designing and managing backup strategies for EC2, RDS, EBS, EFS, S3, and critical data assects.Implementing AWS Backup with cross-account, cross-region, and immutable backup configurations.Defining and testing RPO/RTO targets and disaster recovery strategies.Implementing security and compliance controls using Terraform.Enforcing secure defaults, tagging, and encryption standards.Supporting policy-as-code through AWS Config rules and Service Control Policies (SCPs).Designing built-in security and resilience across cloud architectures.Identifying and improving gaps in monitoring, backup, and recovery processes.You will be the best fit if you have:Strong hands-on AWS experience (IAM, EC2, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, AWS Backup).Solid understanding of backup and disaster recovery concepts.Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).Practical experience implementing or operating ISO 27001 controls.Understanding of least privilege, audits, and change management.English level B2 or higher.Hands-on experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.Nice to HaveExperience with: AWS Organizations and SCPs, Multi-account AWS environments, Security Hub, GuardDuty, Inspector.Exposure to other standards (SOC 2, NIST, CIS Benchmarks).What we offerRemote work or working from our Bialystok, Warsaw, Rzeszow offices.
