Location: hybrid work from Warsaw or Gdańsk (3 days per week from office) and monthly team workshops in Gdańsk lasting 2-3 days.Start: 06.04.2026Rate: up to 155 pln/h on b2bIndustry: bankingIntroduction & SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Data Engineer with a focus on DevOps practices to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in IT Service Management data integrations, particularly with BMC Helix. Strong expertise in data warehousing, ETL processes, and programming languages such as SQL and Python is crucial for success in this role.Main ResponsibilitiesThe primary responsibility of the Data Engineer is to design and implement data solutions that ensure the stability and scalability of our data systems.Design and build a stable, scalable, near real-time, and reliable BMC Helix data replication solution.Build, design, and maintain data architecture to ensure complete data collection and quality.Design, build, test, and maintain data pipelines.Troubleshoot and innovate data processes.Collaborate in a SAFe Scrum Team with aligned autonomy.Act as a subject matter expert and provide recommendations to IT and business stakeholders.Engage in individual competence and skills development with your manager.Key RequirementsExperience with IT Service Management data integrations (BMC Helix preferred).Proficient in Data Warehousing, data storage, data security, and ETL processes (SSIS, Snowflake).Professional experience in SQL (T-SQL preferred), Python, and Apache Airflow.Proficiency in CI/CD practices (Bamboo/Jenkins).Experience working with MS SQL Server, Snowflake, PostgreSQL, Dataverse, etc.Lean-Agile trained or certified (Scrum or SAFe).Master’s degree in Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.Minimum of 3+ years of proven work experience in a similar role.Fluency in English (C1 level at least).Nice to HaveExperience with advanced data analytics and machine learning.Familiarity with additional programming languages.Knowledge of cloud computing environments.
