Introduction

We are Plantclub

Bringing plants into your workspace should be easy - that’s where Plantclub comes in. We offer flexible plant rentals across Germany and Vienna, handling everything from design to care, so your team can simply enjoy the benefits.

We’re more than a service. Plantclub is a growing community of design-led companies shaping healthier, more beautiful workplaces. Our memberships adapt as teams grow, offering workshops, perks, and expert support along the way.

Our plants thrive in a living cycle - over 85% are refreshed, repurposed, or rehomed because a healthier workspace should care for the planet too.

Why This Role Is Unique

Your tasks

About the Role

This is an 80% Design / 20% Growth hybrid role — ideal for someone creative, structured, and commercially aware.

You’ll primarily support and deliver high-quality plant concepts for forward-thinking employers, while also contributing to growth initiatives that expand our reach and partnerships.

You’ll typically manage 5–8 active projects in different pipeline stages, balancing design quality with speed, ownership, and follow-through.

80% Design & Project Ownership

You will:

Design and deliver tailored plant concepts — from intro call and site visit to proposal and contract close

Conduct site visits and client consultations in Berlin

Manage execution end-to-end: procurement, suppliers, timelines, installation coordination

Own smaller projects independently and support larger ones alongside the Senior Designers

Maintain structured weekly pipeline reporting and documentation

Improve workflows across Design, Procurement, and Operations

Ensure smooth handovers to Operations after contract close

Support installation days (including physical plant handling of 25kg and ladder work)

Build and maintain relationships with architecture and design partners

Success in this role means delivering concepts on time, maintaining clear communication, and ensuring seamless handovers to Operations.

You can expect regular on-site consultations and installation days in Berlin, with occasional travel within Germany.

20% Growth & Market Expansion

You’ll also support our Growth team by:

Researching and identifying design-led companies, platforms, and communities aligned with our B2B audience

Supporting partnership outreach (research, tailored messaging, tracking responses)

Assisting with partner campaigns and design collaborations

Contributing to LinkedIn content (project highlights, partner features, behind-the-scenes installs)

Helping gather member stories and turning them into structured case studies

Supporting market expansion research for new cities (competitor mapping, pricing insights, positioning analysis)

Coordinating smaller seasonal or experimental growth initiatives

This part of the role is hands-on and practical — focused on execution, not just ideas.

This isn’t a pure designer role. It isn’t a pure growth role. It’s for someone who wants to:

Design beautiful spaces

Understand how those spaces drive business

Build systems that scale

Contribute to both creativity and commercial impact

Your Profile

Fluent in English (C1+) and confident in German (B1+)

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g. design, architecture, horticulture, business, or similar)

1+ year of experience in a startup, design-led, or customer-facing environment (architecture, interiors, creative agency, etc.)

Comfortable managing multiple projects in parallel

Structured and organized — you enjoy documentation and follow-through

Commercially aware — you understand that design must convert

Confident communicating with clients (email + phone in DE & EN)

Comfortable with Google Workspace, Figma, and digital documentation tools

Knowledgeable about plants and confident in varied office conditions

Physically capable (lifting up to 25 kg independently and doing ladder work during installations)

Berlin as we do not offer relocation

Proactive, independent, and solutions-oriented

Bonus if you’re interested in:

Sustainability and circular systems

Workplace culture and office design

Scaling startups

We offer

Full-time position (40h/week) based in Berlin

A diverse, mission-driven team that loves making a positive impact through plants

Career development support, including regular feedback and a personal growth plan

Close collaboration across departments - from plant care to growth and operations

Regular team events, creative perks, and plenty of plant-y gifts
