Full Stack Developer (Java/JavaScript) with German

Andersen is hiring a Full Stack Developer (Java/JavaScript) with German to enhance banking services by integrating new APIs, improving data visibility, and delivering seamless frontend and backend functionality. The customer is a global provider of data-driven analytics and digital solutions for the financial services industry, supporting banks, insurers, and corporate clients with tools for risk management, compliance, fraud prevention, and data-based decision-making across regulated financial ecosystems. The project is focused on extending an existing banking service by integrating new and updated APIs to enrich available data and enhance its presentation in the user interface. The initiative aims to expand functionality, improve data visibility, and ensure seamless integration within the current system landscape. Technology stack: Java 8, Tapestry, JavaScript/jQuery, Hibernatejavas, Maven, Event Handling, AXIS, JUnit, TFS, Spring. Responsibilities: - Developing and maintaining backend services using Java 8, Spring, Hibernate, and Maven. - Working on the frontend using Tapestry, JavaScript, and jQuery. - Implementing and supporting integrations (e.g., SOAP via AXIS) and event‑handling logic. - Writing and maintaining unit tests with JUnit. - Using TFS for version control and task tracking. - Collaborating with the team and stakeholders (German‑speaking) to clarify requirements and deliver functional solutions. - Troubleshooting and resolving issues across backend, frontend, and integrations. Must-haves: - Experience in full-stack development for 2+ years. - Proficiency in Java 8, Spring, Hibernate, and Maven for backend development. - Experience working with Tapestry for frontend development. - Strong knowledge of JavaScript and jQuery. - Hands-on experience writing and maintaining unit tests with JUnit. - Experience using TFS for version control and task management. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues across backend, frontend, and system integrations. - Strong collaboration skills and the ability to clarify requirements with business stakeholders. - Level of English – from Intermediate and above. - Level of German – from Upper-Intermediate and above.
