General Ledger Team Leader

Your responsibilities:leading, coaching and developing a team of GL Accountants (10-15 employees), ensuring strong performance and engagement;oversee the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and external requirements;ensure that the reporting package in corporate systems is delivered in accordance with group policy (including IC reconciliation);monitor and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting outputs prepared by the team;act as the main point of contact for internal and external auditors;identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality;collaborate with stakeholders across Finance, local entities, and other SSC teams to resolve accounting issues and support business needs;support transitions, knowledge transfers, and onboarding of new processes within the SSC.Our requirements:relevant work experience in leadership role in General Ledger;very good command of English (spoken and written); German is an asset.strong knowledge of IFRS/local GAAP accounting principles;excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills;strong communication and stakeholder management abilities;proficiency in ERP systems and advanced MS Excel skills;experience gained in one of the Big 4 companies (audit or advisory) will be considered a strong asset;University degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
