Infrastructure Delivery and technical Projectmanager (m/f/d)

The Company

We, softwareXperts, are looking for qualified IT experts with a wide range of know-how for our customers from various industries.

Your Tasks

• Manage the procurement and deployment of data center hardware, Linux and Windows servers, databases (Oracle, SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL), and virtualized environments (VMware/Hyper-V).
• Assist SMEs in setting up the infrastructure and platforms.
• Contribute to the planning, implementation, and delivery of the infrastructure components within a project.
• Oversee risk management related to project delivery.
• Gather and manage essential requirements in collaboration with SMEs.

Leadership

• Offer technical guidance and mentorship to the IDM team, ensuring adherence to best practices in server and database management, as well as customer relations.
• Work closely with the System Administration, Solution Architecture, Network, and Project Management teams, serving as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ensure alignment between internal processes and customer requirements.

Stakeholder Management

• Foster and maintain strong relationships with key business stakeholders to ensure infrastructure delivery aligns with business goals.
• Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for all infrastructure-related matters across project stakeholders.

We are looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Delivery Manager with a solid technical background to oversee the successful execution of complex IT infrastructure projects. The role involves ensuring the smooth operation of enterprise-level systems, such as databases, servers, storage solutions, and networks.

Must haves

• Linux (RedHat, Ubuntu) and Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022)
• SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle
• TCP/IP networking, firewalls, DNS, and load balancing solutions

Nice to have

• ITIL v4 Foundation or Practitioner
• PMP, PRINCE2

Requirements

Technologies

• Strong expertise in operating systems, including Linux (RedHat, Ubuntu) and Windows Server (2016, 2019, 2022).
• Proficient in working with databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and Oracle.
• Solid understanding of high availability and disaster recovery concepts, including clustering and replication techniques.
• Comprehensive knowledge of TCP/IP networking, firewalls, DNS, and load balancing solutions.
• Well-versed in implementing and adhering to security best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• At least 6 years of experience in IT infrastructure management or delivery, with a focus on Linux, Windows, databases, and cloud technologies.
• Proven experience in managing large-scale infrastructure projects within enterprise environments.
• Relevant certifications in related technologies are a plus.

Soft Skills

• Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
• Outstanding communication abilities for collaborating with both customers and technical teams.
• Demonstrated problem-solving expertise with a proactive approach to incident management and resolution.

Preferred Additional Certifications

• ITIL v4 Foundation or Practitioner.
• Project Management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in managing Linux and Windows server environments, virtualization, and cloud infrastructure, along with in-depth knowledge of database management, high availability configurations, and disaster recovery strategies

Salary Range
