IT Infrastructure Operations Engineer (m/f/d)

Introduction

For our client, a leading provider of high-security IT solutions that support critical operations worldwide, we are looking to fill the position of IT Infrastructure Operations Engineer (m/f/d) through direct placement.

Tasks

As part of our interdisciplinary and international team, you will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders, including business units, security experts, and technology partners. • Contribute, implement and maintain automation processes using Automation Platforms
• Administer and optimize Red Hat Linux Systems, including Red Hat Satellite
• Manage and ensure data backups with CommVault
• Monitor, maintain, and optimize the infrastructure in the enterprise datacenter
• Analyze and resolve issues in the areas of server, storage, and backup systems
• Contribute to the continuous development of our IT architecture
• Create and maintain documentation and conduct training sessions for internal teams

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification with relevant professional experience
• Solid knowledge of Ansible AWX and automation processes
• Experience in Linux System Administration (preferably Red Hat Enterprise Linux)
• Good knowledge of Red Hat Satellite
• Willingness to perform on-call-duty shifts outside regular office hours on a regular basis
• Experience in backup administration using CommVault
• Experience in operating enterprise datacenters and high-availability solutions
• Knowledge of network administration and security concepts is a plus
• Structured and independent working style
