Java Developer (Freelance)

We are looking for a Mid-level Java Developer to join our client’s engineering team and support the development of a SaaS platform used by enterprise customers. This role requires working in close collaboration with both Netguru and our client’s teams, acting as a fully integrated contributor within the client's software organization.This is a B2B contract position.Hourly rate: up to 30 EUR/h (net, invoiced).Working hours: 14:30 to 22:30 CET (±30 minutes).ResponsibilitiesPerform development work as part of the client’s software engineering teamsSupport the client’s developers in daily tasks and project workProvide assistance to the client’s customers during US working hoursMonitor and resolve critical issues that arise outside of standard European hoursParticipate in regular team meetings and virtual team eventsIntegrate with the client’s wider developer communityContribute to the ongoing development of the client’s SaaS solution, including:Integrating with customer ERP systems to retrieve dataAnalyzing data and delivering insights back to customersBuilding and maintaining features within the SaaS applicationRequirements2–4 years of experience in backend development with JavaSolid understanding of object-oriented programming and Java fundamentalsExperience with Spring Boot and RESTful API designFamiliarity with SQL and working with relational databasesComfortable working independently during off-standard hoursAbility to communicate clearly and collaborate in distributed, international teamsProfessional working proficiency in English (spoken and written)Nice to HaveExperience with ERP system integrationExposure to SaaS product developmentFamiliarity with CI/CD pipelines and containerized environmentsKnowledge of AWS or other cloud platformsPrior experience working in customer-facing support or issue resolutionBenefitsIn return, we offer:100% remote, flexible work;work with an experienced team of developers and continuous development of your hard and soft skills;dev-friendly processes such as Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Code Review and bug bashes;long-term collaboration on challenging products (FinTech, B2B software, E-commerce and more).What will happen next?We would like to know you better, so we will invite you for a meeting with our recruiter.Next, you'll be asked to solve the task or invited to an interview and pair programming with one of our iOS Developers.Looking for a full-time job?
