Junior Network Automation Engineer with Python

Development and maintenance of firewall migration automation software
Analysis and troubleshooting of issues coming from the software users.
Active contribution to the AI-powered software development process
Cooperation with the Delivery Team and the Customer on developing and improving automation tools.

Proof of 2+ years of professional, hands-on operational experience in the field of networks or network security
Good understanding of basic networking concepts such as IP addressing, subnetting, routing, switching, network layers and commonly used protocols
Good understanding of the principles and features of modern firewalls
Hands-on experience with Git
Practical experience building automation with Python
Fluency in English (B2 level minimum)
Willingness to learn – you will face challenges that require creativity, individual solutions and teamwork with senior peers

Knowledge of network security products from vendors like Check Point, Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, ZScaler, Juniper
Experience with Claude Code
Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
Knowledge of trends and practices in cybersecurity
Experience working directly with external clients
