Einleitung

Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) Frankfurt Branch was established in June 1999,
which holds the universal bank license of Germany and is a correspondent bank for first class
clearing of Euro and a member of the Target2 and SEPA of the Euro Clearing System. ICBC
Frankfurt Branch is also the Euro Clearing Center of ICBC Group. ICBC Frankfurt Branch’s Legal and
Compliance Department is currently looking for:

Legal & Compliance Associate (m/f/d)
Full-time
Location: Frankfurt am Main, Germany (on-site) 

Ihre Aufgaben

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Identify, assess and monitor compliance risks related to existing and planned business activities, including new products, new business lines and cross-border operations.
• Support the Compliance Officer in providing regulatory advice to General Management and business units on applicable legal and regulatory requirements, as well as relevant regulatory developments.
• Review internal policies, manuals and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance; draft amendments where necessary and assist in the implementation of corrective measures.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of compliance training programs to enhance regulatory awareness within the organization.
• Assist in the operation and continuous improvement of the Legal Monitoring framework, including Legal Inventory and Controls processes, using external work flow tools.
• Provide support during internal and external audits, including preparation of documentation and coordination with auditors.
• Assist in the preparation of periodic and annual compliance reports.

Ihr Profil

 Qualifications and skills:

• 1–3 years of professional experience in compliance, legal or risk functions within a regulated financial institution preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, collaborative team player.
• Good understanding of German and EU banking regulations (e.g. KWG, MaRisk requirements)
• Fluent in English and German; Chinese is a plus but not mandatory.
• Experience in Data Protection or ISO 27001 is advantageous.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law would be ideal.
