Department OverviewThe Krakow PCR (Professional and Commercial Radio) department is responsible for delivering software for mission-critical and business-critical communications for public safety, humanitarian solutions, manufacturing, retail, logistics and many other verticals. Our team follows industry-standard and innovative software development practices such as continuous integration, continuous deployment, component and system-level testing. We use Agile methodologies to organize our work ranging from cross-functional small teams to Agile portfolio management. As owners, we are responsible for the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including specification and design, implementation, system level testing, delivery and maintenance.Job DescriptionThe responsibilities of the DevOps Engineer (with programming) position include an active role in CI/CD pipelines development and tests automation. Which includes responsibilities such as: creation and maintenance of the SW continuous integration and validation environments, SW builds environments, as well as coding, maintaining and executing the system and subsystem test scenarios, creating, running and enhancing the automation tests framework, design automation test scripts, automated test execution. The person hired for this position will be working with an experienced team that is fully located in Motorola Solutions in Poland/Cracow.
