MIP Chemist

MSc or PhD in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Materials Science, or a closely related field., 3+ years of hands-on experience in the design, synthesis, and application of nanoMIPs or closely related polymer systems (e.g. molecularly imprinted polymers, hydrogel nanoparticles)., Strong expertise in nanoparticle characterisation: DLS, zeta potential, TEM; experience with BLI or SPR for binding analysis is highly preferred., Experience working with or developing SOPs in a regulated or quality-driven R&D environment., Ability to work independently and make methodological decisions — this role requires ownership, not step-by-step execution., Strong documentation discipline: real-time lab notebooks, batch records, and validation reporting., Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate complex scientific concepts to non-chemists., Working proficiency in English (documentation, publications, external communication)., Experience with NTA, TRPS, or other particle tracking / resistive pulse sensing methods., Background in biosensor development or integration of recognition materials into devices., Publications or patents in the MIP / nanoMIP field., Familiarity with grant funding processes (e.g. NCBiR, ERC, Horizon Europe)., Experience with solid-phase imprinting techniques.
