Product Owner - Krakow - Poland - Hybrid

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the evolution of our Exchange Traded Derivatives (ETD) execution and operating model framework. This role will drive product direction across the full trade lifecycle, ensuring alignment between business strategy, client execution capabilities, and technology delivery.Role OverviewAs Product Owner, you will define and prioritise the product roadmap for ETD execution, partnering closely with Strategy, Trading, Operations, and Technology teams. You will ensure that new features, regulatory initiatives, and system enhancements are delivered in a coordinated and commercially aligned manner.This role requires strong domain expertise in ETD markets, including listed futures and options, as well as a deep understanding of execution workflows and algorithmic trading in a sell-side banking environment.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn the product vision and roadmap for ETD execution and related operating model capabilities.Translate strategic objectives into clearly defined product requirements and prioritised development backlogs.Work closely with front-to-back stakeholders to ensure operational readiness for product launches, regulatory updates, and system enhancements.Align business requirements with technology delivery schedules to ensure cohesive end-to-end solutions.Oversee the implementation of new product releases, trading enhancements, and regulatory changes across the ETD platform.Define and refine target operating models to support new functionality, ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities, and control frameworks.Ensure regulatory compliance and robust governance are embedded into product design and process flows.Act as the primary product representative in cross-functional forums, industry discussions, and vendor engagements where required.Provide transparent status reporting on product initiatives, including milestones, risks, and dependencies.Experience and KnowledgeExtensive experience within Exchange Traded Derivatives (listed futures and options) in a sell-side investment banking environment.Strong understanding of ETD execution workflows, including algorithmic trading models.Practical experience with industry-standard ETD trading platforms such as Trading Technologies (TT), Ullink (UL), or comparable systems.Solid knowledge of the end-to-end ETD trade lifecycle.Proven experience operating as a Product Owner, Product Lead, or senior change professional within capital markets.Demonstrated ability to manage technology-enabled product development initiatives.Experience designing or refining operating models within regulated financial environments.Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with senior leadership.Personal AttributesStrategic thinker with the ability to balance commercial objectives and technical constraints.Confident communicator who is comfortable driving decisions and resolving ambiguity.Collaborative and relationship-oriented, with the ability to influence across diverse stakeholder groups.Self-directed and accountable, with strong organisational and planning capabilities.Fluent written and spoken English.
