Release Manager

You will work in a motivated, energetic, and international environment together with other release and rollout managers, collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure safe and successful deliveries.   Expected competences and knowledge Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in IT or a related discipline Over 5 years of experience in IT project management and planning Previous experience in release or deployment management activities, preferably within the banking sector Experience working with incident, problem, and change management processes and tools under the ITIL framework Practical understanding of Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies Experience working with CI/CD practices Confident use of project management tools such as Jira and Confluence Basic understanding of DevOps ways of working Ability to communicate with development teams and create and validate deployment runbooks Passion for working with release orchestration tools and automated release pipelines Excellent communication, networking, and stakeholder management skills Strong analytical, coordination, and planning abilities Attention to detail with the ability to manage dependencies and commitments Accountability, proactivity, and adaptability to change Flexibility to work paid evenings and weekends during implementation events Highly proficient spoken and written English Technical mindset Nice to have Experience with release and deployment automation activities   Responsibilities you'll have Coordinating, planning, and maintaining the release roadmap for one or more applications Planning and coordinating release and deployment activities, including multiple parallel releases Planning release go-live and post–go-live activities Planning, coordinating, and tracking change activities throughout the release process Leading release decision meetings to secure stakeholder approval for release milestones Planning and setting up handover sessions from development teams to operations teams Increasing release quality and efficiency by integrating automation capabilities and DevOps ways of working into release orchestration   Client – why choose this particular client from the Jit portfolio?
