Industry: BankingLocation: hybrid model 3x/week in office (Gdańsk/Warszawa)Remuneration: 160 zl/h net+vatType of contract: B2BDuration: Long-termSummary:The role of Release Manager focuses on ensuring efficient and high-quality release management for IT initiatives, guaranteeing that new releases to technology platforms and applications are planned and executed in compliance with company standards.Main Responsibilities:The Release Manager will coordinate and oversee the planning and deployment of releases while ensuring compliance with company standards. Responsibilities include: Coordinating and maintaining the release roadmap for various applications. Planning and coordinating multiple parallel releases and deployment activities. Leading decision meetings and securing stakeholder approvals for releases. Planning handover sessions from development to operations teams. Improving release quality through automation and DevOps practices. Key Requirements:To qualify for this role, candidates must possess: Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in IT or related fields. 5+ years of IT project management and planning experience. Proficient in spoken and written English. Previous experience in release or deployment management, preferably in the banking sector. Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, and SAFe methodologies. Experience with CI/CD practices and tools (e.g., Jenkins, Digital.ai). Background in automation of release and deployment activities.
