Senior AI Developer

We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to take full ownership of end-to-end technical implementations for machine learning and GenAI workloads. This isn't just a research role; you will be building operational AI systems that solve high-stakes business problems for enterprise-scale clients. You will act as an individual contributor with the autonomy to make key technical decisions, with a clear path toward technical leadership.We offerStart Date: March 2026.Duration: 6 months (initial engagement) with a high probability of extension.Working Hours: GMT timezone (alignment with UK/Western Europe).Impact: Direct influence on AI strategy for global enterprises across Insurance, Finance, and Healthcare.Culture: High autonomy, agile squads, and a 'Builder' mindset.ResponsibilitiesEnd-to-End Delivery: Design and build data pipelines and workflows powering production-grade ML and GenAI applications.Agentic AI: Create and orchestrate AI agents designed to solve specific, complex business challenges.Technical Ownership: Lead platform implementations from initial scoping and data exploration to final production deployment.Client Advisory: Facilitate technical workshops, define requirements with stakeholders, and translate business needs into scalable AI architecture.Advanced Modeling: Design complex ontologies and integrations involving 10+ disparate data sources.Rapid Prototyping: Move quickly from POC to production while maintaining high engineering standards.RequirementsCommercial experience with PalantirTotal Experience: 5–10 years of professional experience in delivering production-level software solutions.AI/ML Focus: 1–5 years of hands-on experience with enterprise-grade AI/ML platforms.Tech Stack: Expert proficiency in Python (including PyTorch, NumPy, Polars) and SQL.GenAI Ecosystem: Proven experience working with LLMs and the broader GenAI landscape.Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead implementations from analysis through to production.Communication: Exceptional English skills; ability to 'challenge' requirements and advise technical teams on the client side.Nice to Have:Domain expertise in the Insurance sector (or Finance/Healthcare).Advanced experience with complex ontologies and cross-functional program coordination.Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments requiring rapid context switching.
