Senior AI Lead

We are seeking a highly capable Artificial Intelligence Engineer with deep expertise in multimodal machine-learning systems. This position is ideal for an individual who thrives on designing, evaluating, and refining large-scale language-model pipelines, with a particular focus on Polish-language data and model behaviour.You will play a central role in architecting advanced ingestion mechanisms, implementing sophisticated retrieval logic, integrating audio-visual processing flows, and ensuring that our systems deliver exceptional accuracy, reliability, and operational robustness.Primary ResponsibilitiesDesign, operate, and continually refine Polish-language Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines, including embedding strategies, retrieval mechanics, and generation optimisation.Conduct comprehensive benchmarking of system performance, analysing precision, recall, robustness, latency, and overall quality, and present well-founded improvement proposals.Develop advanced ingestion and transformation processes, including document segmentation, chunking heuristics, metadata generation, and multimodal extraction logic.Integrate audio, image, and video processing components, such as speech-to-text systems, optical character recognition modules, and structured-data extraction tools.Create rigorous benchmarking tools, validation suites, and continuous-evaluation frameworks to ensure system correctness and consistency.Collaborate closely with DevOps and Data Engineering teams to deliver stable, scalable, and secure machine-learning deployments in production environments. Required Qualifications and ExperienceExtensive experience with embedding models, vector-based retrieval, and modern Retrieval-Augmented Generation architectures.Proven ability to benchmark, evaluate, and optimise large-language-model systems, including both quantitative and qualitative analysis of output quality.Hands-on expertise with multimodal extraction technologies, including optical character recognition, speech-to-text solutions, image processing, and structured-document interpretation.Native-level or highly fluent Polish proficiency (mandatory for this role).Demonstrated experience working with Polish-language and processing tools.
