(Senior) AI/ML Engineer - NLP / LLM / GenAI (f/m/d)

Your tasks

Position Description

As a (Senior) Software Engineer at Cinemo, you will play a critical role in the development and enhancement of our AI/ML powered applications for wide range of automotive hardware and OS platforms such as Android Automotive OS (AAOS) and Linux. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain high-quality Cinemo’s in-vehicle infotainment software solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

In this role, you will:

• Focus on model research, development and tuning
• Design, evaluate and select the ML models and underlying software architecture to be used in the next-generation automotive infotainment middleware
• Elevate the in-car experience across different car-lines worldwide by crafting the best-of-class AI-powered infotainment functionality
• Select and tune the best ML models and incorporating them in the wider automotive infotainment middleware software architecture
• Design training protocols together with the prompt engineering and model training experts
• Continuously improve software stack reflecting advancements in the field of ML

What you will need to succeed:

• Experience in the areas of NLP, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Preprocessing
• Experience with state-of-the-art Transformer architectures (BERT, GPT-3, T5) and state-of-the-art LLMs (Gemini, GPT-4, Llama3, Mistral)
• Deep knowledge and experience in model training, model fine-tuning, evaluation of model performance and identifying areas for improvement
• Strong foundation of machine learning concepts and technologies
• Proficient knowledge of Python, C/C++, PyTorch, TensoFlow, Kerns
• Good written and verbal English communication skills
