Senior AI/ML Software Engineer – Financial Technologies

Write and maintain high-quality, testable, and reusable code aligned with project standards.
Lead the design of scalable, robust AI/ML solutions in line with the platform’s strategic vision.
Own the engineering and deployment of significant AI flagship projects from concept to production.
Mentor and guide fellow engineers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
Establish and promote best practices in coding standards and AI ethics, ensuring transparency and fairness.
Evaluate and prototype advanced AI technologies such as RAG techniques, LLM optimization, and agentic architectures.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex business needs into innovative technical solutions.
Develop and implement sophisticated retrieval and data analysis solutions using RAG and vector databases on complex financial data.

5+ years of experience in senior engineering roles, leading technical projects and mentoring teams.
Deep expertise in Python and its ML/AI ecosystem; familiarity with Java is a plus.
Strong knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL), vector databases, KV stores (Redis), and pub/sub systems.
Solid understanding of microservices architecture, API design, observability, and concurrency models.
Proven hands-on experience with large language models (LLMs), fine-tuning, RAG, prompt engineering, and designing agentic architectures.
In-depth knowledge of machine learning, deep learning, NLP, and experimentation with LLMs.
Proficiency in cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP, containerization, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
Commitment to engineering best practices like TDD and BDD.
Excellent communication skills in English, capable of engaging both technical and business stakeholders at all levels.
