In this role you will join a team of passionate engineers responsible for development and maintenance of business critical microservices such as integrations, payments as well as user identity, authorization and access management.The company is well-established in the market, but even so, the work culture is not like in typical corporations. Teams are small and autonomous, engineers are given extensive freedom of action, and remote-first & async-first approach is promoted (spotify-derived model). The Scandinavian work culture also places a strong emphasis on work-life balance, which is promoted and shared in both the project itself and among rest of Relout teams.🔷Responsibilities:Develop microservices based on TypeScript, Node.js for business core components.Design and develop cloud native applications based on AWS services like Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB and EventBridgeDesign and implement automated unit/integration/performance testsWork closely with the Architects & SRE team and follow security & reliability standardsCollaborate with the team and drive it while ensuring high code quality and standardsBe actively involved in designing and developing reliable & secure backend features/functionsWork with continuously delivered (CI/CD) systems🎯Requirements:Minimum 5 years of experience as a Backend Developer, with recent hands-on work in TypeScript and Node.jsStrong commercial experience in designing and building serverless solutions and microservices architecture (distributed systems, event-driven communication, scalability, resiliency)Proven experience in working with cloud-based serverless environments and understanding of infrastructure implications for backend systemsDeep understanding of test automation strategies, including practical experience in writing and maintaining e2e tests, integration tests, system and performance smoke tests Ability to design systems with quality in mind, ensuring high test coverage and long-term maintainabilityGood understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and building scalable, domain-oriented systemsExperience working closely with product and design teams in small, agile, cross-functional environments (including pair programming)Ability to share knowledge through tech demos, workshops, and brainstorming sessionsExperience mentoring others and providing constructive, fact-based feedbackTeam-oriented mindset with the ability to guide technical decision-making processesOpen-minded, communicative, and focused on delivering business valueFluent verbal and written communication skills in Polish and EnglishNice to have:Experience with frontend development on micro frontends architectureExperience with Kubernetes⭐What we offer:Flexible contract currency of your choice (PLN/EUR/SEK)Flexible work arrangements and remote work optionsProfessional development and training opportunitiesCollaborative and inclusive work environmentOpportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies and make a meaningful impact in the dairy industryRegular company events and integrations (meetups)Missing anything you like?
