Your responsibilities

• Work on the architecture, design, development, deployment, and operations of microservices, using DevOps practices, extreme programming, and other methodologies utilizing modern AI workflows.
• Be an active, highly-agent and solution-oriented member of autonomous, cross-functional agile teams.
• Maintain an in-depth understanding of the core product and architecture, acting as an ambassador for software solutions and offering technical support and guidance to colleagues.
• Work with state-of-the-art technologies like Golang, Kotlin, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and more.
• Contribute to architectural decisions, providing technical insights to shape the overall direction of solution design.

Our requirements

• Strong background in backend development of highly-available event-driven (Kafka) distributed systems with rich integrations.
• Meaningful experience using AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor) as part of a regular workflow. This includes using AI agents as thought partners to navigate codebases and understanding how task framing affects result quality.
• Proven ability to build architectures using messaging technologies such as Kafka and AWS SQS/SNS and expose data via future-proof REST API and gRPC interfaces.
• Proficiency with Golang; a willingness to learn Kotlin is also welcome.
• Practical knowledge of Docker, container orchestration tools like Kubernetes, and CI/CD implementation.
• Deep understanding of relational databases like PostgreSQL; knowledge of MongoDB and/or GraphQL is a plus.
• Solid foundation in testing practices, including both unit and end-to-end testing.
