About the project

Your responsibilities

• Lead the design and operation of model risk and technology controls specifically related to AI development and deployment.
• Partner with risk and control owners to ensure comprehensive understanding and mitigation of technology and non-financial risks.
• Drive the deployment of risk management frameworks supporting scaled AI adoption within a complex financial environment.
• Oversee emerging risks, strategic initiatives, and change activities, providing insightful reporting and escalation.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders across all lines of defense to promote a proactive risk culture and deliver robust controls.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, including senior leaders and third-party providers, to ensure effective risk governance and decision-making.
• Support cultural change initiatives fostering integrated and outcome-based risk management.

Our requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the design and operation of model risk and technology controls, ideally within financial services.
• Proven expertise in responsible AI governance and technological risk management.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams and stakeholders in complex, matrixed organizations.
• Technical familiarity with digital currencies, cloud architecture, quantum computing, and third-party technology providers.
• Deep knowledge of Non-Financial Risk frameworks and controls.
• Excellent project management and communication skills, including experience in preparing board presentations.
• Fluent English command, with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.

Optional

• Certifications in Risk Management, Governance, or relevant technologies.
• Experience working with emerging AI platforms and responsible AI policies within the financial sector.
