Senior IT Mainframe Developer

Industry: bankingLocation: Poland - Gdańsk; 2-3 days per week in the officeB2B up to 170zł/h netto+ VATSummary: The Senior IT Developer role focuses on enhancing and maintaining mainframe applications within the SWIFT Technology team to support secure payment transactions, contributing to the organization's financial products.Main Responsibilities:Developing and implementing improvements in the SWIFT Technology area.Collaborating within agile teams and Agile Release Trains (ART).Interacting with various internal and external stakeholders.Key Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.At least 7 years of experience as a Mainframe Developer with expertise in COBOL, JCL, CICS, and DB2.Experience in the software development life cycle.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience in an Agile environment.Nice to Have:Experience in Java Software development and Kafka.5+ years of experience in the financial domain, preferably in SWIFT services.
