Your responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Java code
• Contribute to the full product lifecycle: problem discovery, prototyping, design, implementation, and adoption
• Ensure test-driven development and collaborate closely with global teams
• Focus on performance, availability, reliability, and security
• Mentor and coach other engineers within the team
• Support the platform through incident resolution, monitoring, and problem management
• Develop automated tooling to improve support and operational efficiency

Our requirements

• 4+ years of experience in designing, developing, and operating distributed systems in Java
• Strong experience with Java SE, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and test-driven development
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and Agile methodologies
• Ability to translate functional requirements into technical solutions
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, problem-solving mindset
• Previous experience in investment banking is a plus
• Core Java, Spring (Hystrix, Eureka, Zuul, Sleuth, Feign, Ribbon)
• Microservices development (REST APIs)
• Apache Beam, Apache Flink
• Cloud knowledge (preferably GCP)

Optional

• Experience with Redis or other in-memory stores
• Familiarity with Jenkins, Ansible
• Knowledge of relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL)
