Your responsibilities
- Software development using q/KDB backend
- Provide effort estimates based on requirements to project managers
- Follow best practices and coding standards
- Maintain and update specification documentation with version control
Our requirements
- Hands-on development experience using q/KDB, R, or Python in the financial domain
- Proficiency in Unix/Linux and bash scripting
- Experience working with JIRA for issue tracking (SCRUM boards)
- Strong understanding of Financial Markets asset classes:FX, Fixed Income, Equities, Rates, Commodities, and Credit
- Knowledge of various trade types:OTC, exchange-traded, Spot, Forward, Swap, Options
- Familiarity with related financial systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Good knowledge of release processes and control procedures
- Strong experience working with geographically distributed global teams
Optional
- Prior experience using ML/AI libraries to solve real-world problems is a plus
