Senior .Net Developer

Profile: Senior .Net Developer 

Project: We are seeking an experienced Senior .NET Developer with specialized expertise in Windows Forms for the further development, maintenance, and modernization of our established audit and revision procedure software, reviPS. This position offers the opportunity to work on a stable, professionally structured project. You will take responsibility for the technical advancement of an enterprise application in the German-speaking part of Switzerland. 

Truesoft AG develops and distributes reviPS, a leading desktop solution for audits and revisions. The software is used by cantonal administrations, mid-sized audit firms, and independent auditors throughout Switzerland. The company is characterized by high technical standards and long-term customer relationships. 

Architecture & Design (approx. 30%) 

• Evaluation of new technologies and frameworks
• Architecture decisions for future features
• Evaluation of cloud integration and enhanced interfaces
• Shape the modernization roadmap

Documentation & Best Practices (approx. 10%) 

• Code documentation and knowledge retention
• Sparring with other developers
• Process optimization and establishing best practices

Requirements (Must-Have): 

Programming Language & Platform 

• Solid knowledge of C# and .NET Framework
• Professional experience with Windows Forms (minimum 5+ years of productive
• use)
• Experience with REST APIs and API integration
• Understanding of desktop application architecture and deployment models

Database Development 

• Secure mastery of SQL and ADO.NET
• Practical experience with the following database systems:
• Microsoft SQL Server (2012+)
• PostgreSQL
• Other relational systems (Oracle, MySQL, etc.)
• Understanding of database design, transactions, and performance optimization

Software Architecture 

• Familiarity with 3-tier architecture (data layer, business layer, presentation layer)
• Basic understanding of design patterns (MVC-like concepts, abstraction layers)
• Experience with version control (Git or SVN, preferably SVN)

Security & Compliance 

• Understanding of encryption (AES, RSA, hybrid approaches)
• Knowledge of code obfuscation and security principles
• Awareness of data protection (GDPR, Swiss Data Protection Act)

Strongly Desired (Nice-to-Have) 

• Basic knowledge of cloud integration
• Experience with automated testing
• Knowledge of PDF generation and Office integration
• Experience with post-build processes and automated deployment
• Familiarity with digital signatures and certificate management
