About the project
Your responsibilities
- Serve as the technical authority for Observability, defining standards and strategic direction across platforms and teams
- Design and assess observability architectures across applications, platforms, and integrations
- Work hands-on with New Relic (APM, infrastructure monitoring, logs, traces, dashboards, and alerting
- Lead architecture and design reviews, balancing technical excellence, cost efficiency, and business impact
- Lead and mentor engineers, providing technical guidance, constructive feedback
- Drive planning and execution of observability initiatives, including monitoring strategies, rollout plans, and continuous improvement roadmaps
- Partner with business leaders and senior IT stakeholders
- Work closely with testing teams, maintaining strong awareness of test environments and automation practices
- Ensure observability capabilities effectively support high-demand production environments and critical incident response
Our requirements
- At least 5 years of experience at Senior or Lead level in Observability, working within complex, large-scale enterprise environments
- Strong hands-on expertise with New Relic, including solution design, implementation, and optimization
- Demonstrated experience in designing and reviewing architectures for monitoring and observability platforms
- Proven ability to operate independently and lead effectively in high-pressure situations
- Strong business understanding and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in team and people management
- Well-developed soft skills, including clear communication, influencing stakeholders and managing conflicts
- Very good command of the English language
- Residing in Poland required
Optional
- Previous work with test automation environments, especially Tosca
- Background in SRE, DevOps, or large scale production support
- Experience building and executing long term observability roadmaps across multiple teams and services
