Senior Quality Engineer

Knowledge of aerospace quality requirements and specifications, Proven track record of partnering with manufacturing and engineering, Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required, Minimum 6 years working in the aerospace and or automotive industry in a quality, engineering, or manufacturing capacity, Previous experience in a high mix, low volume job shop, Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D Quality Management System processes., Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action. Experience with formal quality and operations systems, Capable of reviewing and interpreting drawings, contracts / PO’s, and applicable processing standards, Skilled at performing First Article inspections, Proficiency with MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, An understanding of use and application of statistics and SPC, Computer Literacy in Excel, Minitab, CAD and Visio, Advanced problem solving and advanced data analysis techniques, Knowledge in and experience in 8D problem solving techniques, SPC and statistical analysis, Experience in Aerospace and Defense manufacturing is highly desirable, Experience in the opening a manufacturing facility is a plus
