The SRE (Reliability Platform) team at Box builds internal tools and platforms that empower engineering teams to develop reliable, observable, and production-ready services. Our mission is to make reliability scalable, not just through operational excellence, but by providing software solutions that enforce best practices and eliminate manual toil.

We focus on building tools like automated diagnostics, reliability scanners, and changelog systems that proactively surface risks, standardize key workflows, and enable high-quality service delivery across Box. Our work combines backend development with cloud-native infrastructure and developer tooling, with strong emphasis on Go, Python, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD. We work closely with engineering teams across the company, making reliability an integrated part of the development process, not an afterthought.
