Your responsibilities

• Work on the architecture, design, and technical strategy for complex microservices systems, establishing patterns and best practices across multiple teams.
• Drive technical decision-making and architectural reviews, ensuring scalability, reliability, and maintainability of platform systems.
• Support engineers across the organization, fostering technical growth and promoting engineering excellence.
• Lead critical technical initiatives and cross-team projects, collaborating with technical leadership and cross-functional partners to align technical strategy with business objectives.

Our requirements

• 8+ years of backend engineering experience with deep expertise in microservices and distributed event-driven architectural patterns
• Expert-level proficiency in Go, PHP, and/or JVM languages
• Proven track record of leading large-scale technical projects and driving architectural decisions in complex distributed systems
• Advanced experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native architectures, including production operations at scale
• Extensive experience building event-driven architectures using message bus technologies (Kafka, RabbitMQ, SQS/SNS, etc.)
• Deep expertise with database technologies (relational and NoSQL), including performance optimization, schema design, and operational best practices
• Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and drive technical standards across teams
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with senior stakeholders and distributed teams

• GraphQL experience for client-backend integration is a plus
