System Engineer

Employer: International sensor companyLocation: Bielsko-Biała (hybrid work model with mandatory office visits 1- 2 days every one to two weeks)Rate: 13 000 - 17 000 PLN on UoPCooperation model: Employment contractStart date: ASAPRecruitment process: 2-3 online interviewsTechnology stack: Jira, Confluence, Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, Hyper-V, VMware, Microsoft Server Your role is to:-> Provide 2nd- and 3rd-level support for complex IT issues, analyzing problems to find root causes; -> Ensure stability and performance of IT systems while proactively improving them through automation and best practices; -> Maintain documentation and task tracking in Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence);-> Coordinate and support application and infrastructure releases with well-documented deployments; -> Support the implementation and monitoring of IT security measures, including endpoint protection (Microsoft Defender) and compliance monitoring; Your skills and experiences:-> 3+ years of professional experience in system engineering or a similar role;-> Solid knowledge of Microsoft Server and Client environments;-> Hands-on experience with AD / Entra ID, DNS, DHCP, and GPO;-> Familiarity with PowerShell scripting and automation; knowledge of Python is considered an advantage;-> Practical experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), including VM management;-> Experience with cloud-based virtual desktop solutions (big plus);-> Good understanding of IT security practices (endpoint protection, compliance, monitoring);-> Basic network troubleshooting skills (advantage);-> Experience with release processes and DLP policies (optional);-> Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics or equivalent professional training;-> Fluent English (German or other languages are a plus).
